Syllabus

First and second quantization, coherent state path integrals, Interacting electrons, the Hubbard model, quantum magnetism, mean field theory, Goldstone modes, Planar magnets and the Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless transition, Superfluidity, Superconductivity: phenomenology, BCS theory of superconductivity, quantum Hall effect: integer and fractional, anomalous quantum Hall effect.
