Syllabus

We will explore different topics on the interface of differential, symplectic, complex, convex, and algebraic geometry. Topics will range from classification theorems in algebraic geometry, mean curvature flow, canonical metrics in complex and affine convex geometry, and probabilistic approach to Monge-Ampere equations, time permitting.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to:

become familiar with basic techniques in geometric analysis and make connections to algebraic geometry
