The course objective is to provide an up-to-date overview of contemporary key issues in science education, including:
- New standards in science education
- Scientific literacy
- The laboratory in science education
- Using the internet in teaching science
- Outdoor learning environment
- Project based learning (PBL)
- Action research (8) Different strategies for professional development.
