Syllabus

  1. Symmetries: rotations in 3 and 4 dimensions, reps. of Lorentz symmetry, Noether's theorem. 
  2. Path integral in Quantum Mechanics.
  3. Free field equation and quantisation (scalars and fermions).
  4. Brief: Introduction to Feynman diagrams.

Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to:

  1. Solve perturbative field theory problems, with the concepts and tools itemized in the course.
