Comments

This course is compulsory for those who intend to work with animals. Participants who pass the course will be granted permission to work with laboratory animals. The course includes procedures on animals.

The course includes three parts, all of them are mandatory:
1.Online course of seven (7) modules performed at the AALAS learning
library. Must be completed by March 16th,2020.
2.One full-day of studies that will include a frontal lecture and two
labs: A pathology lab and a procedure lab on March 31st, 2020.
3.Exam ? 1 hour, 33 multiple answer test on April 7th , 2020.

    33 multiple answer test. 1 hour.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to:

  1. Explain principles in laboratory animals' medicine.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency advanced methodology and experimental approaches in animals' experimentation.
  3. Perform commonly used procedures in different species as well as a postmortem dissection.
