Syllabus
A reading seminar in Systems Neuroscience, focusing on recent interesting papers on mammalian neural circuits that mediate perception, cognition and behavior. Particular emphasis will be given to papers using Neurophysiology, Optogenetics and Imaging methods in vivo, as well as to theoretical/modeling papers.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Read critically and discuss the current literature in systems neuroscience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of cutting-edge topics in the field.
