Syllabus

The course will cover the start-of-the-art in molecular and materials chemistry. Recent developments in design and assembly strategies of molecule-based materials with complex functions will be discussed.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to:

  1. Critically evaluate series of seminal papers related to supramolecular chemistry, chemistry of materials and self-assembly.
  2. Demonstrate oral presentation skills.
  3. Present scientific state-of-the-art research outside of the student's natural field of interest.
