Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course students should be be able to:
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding and implementation of a safe working practice in the laboratories, in compliance with legislations.
- Determine which protection equipment should be used in accordance with the techniques and hazard potential it poses.
- Apply injury prevention concept by using alternatives of less hazardous potential.
- Determine how to store handle and dispose the hazardous materials exists in the laboratories.
- Deal to some extent with fire and accidents in the lab.
