Syllabus

This is an obligatory seminar for first and second-year students in the Computational and Systems Biology track. Each session will include a short presentation from a first-year student, followed by a full presentation from a second-year student. They will present and discuss their Rotation/Master's projects.

A composite grade for the two years will be provided at the end of the second year. The grade will be based on attendance (50%), first-year presentation (15%), and second-year presentation (35%).

Learning Outcomes

1. Students will get familiar with the computational and systems biology research at Weizmann.

2. Students will obtain and improve their capabilities to present and discuss scientific data.

3. The seminar will provide an opportunity for detailed in-depth discussions on data analysis.
