Syllabus

This is the third course in a sequence of three, in which students are learning towards their final project in the program.

In the first course, the students worked individually on developing assessment tools addressing a learning skill that they encounter during their practices as junior and high school biology teachers. In the second course, students implemented the tool and data on the performance of the high school students was collected.

During the third course, students learn to analyze the data they collected according to quantitative and/or qualitative research approaches. During the course, participants share their projects with the group and receive constructive feedback that prepares for the final project.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to:

Students will be able to exhibit their data analysis and conclusions in an academic presentation and embedded in theory and relevant science teaching literature.
