Weeks 1-5

Learning basic packages and programming skills in Python with emphasize on data science,  including:

- NumPy

- Pandas

- Matplotlib

- SciPy

Working with variables, tables, plotting, loops, and conditional statements

Week 6

- Scikit-learn

Learning basic principles in machine learning and solving simple problems

 

Learning Outcomes

The course is designed for students without or with a little experience in programming that want to gain basic skills in programming in Python. Emphasize will put on data science.

After completion of the course, students will gain basic programming skills in Python and some background in data science and machine learning.
