Syllabus

Electrochemistry is multidisciplinary and is applied in physical, chemical and biological sciences. In the course, basic principles will be discussed, how mechanistic information can be derived from redox processes. We will also cover redox reactions taking place in storage devices such as batteries as well as electrochemical sensors and smart materials.

Learning Outcomes

The students will have the tools to understand common electrochemical methods and processes.
