The Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Science (AMOS) seminar is a mix of lectures by Weizmann AMO students, scientists, and invited guests.
Student talks may focus on any scientific topic that interests them – from journal club-style presentations to discussions of their own research, or anything in between. In-depth discussion following each talk is an integral part of the seminar. Students who give a talk during the year will receive 1 credit point.
Presenting at the AMOS seminar is an expected part of the PhD program in AMO. MSc students and postdocs are also encouraged to volunteer.
