Syllabus

We will study the major particle cosmology messenger measurements, from detection principles to actual detectors and cosmological sources. These will include:

  • X-rays and Gamma rays
  • Charged particles and Cosmic Rays
  • Neutrinos
  • Dark Matter

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to:

Demonstrate understanding of the detection concepts and do basic analysis of results and capabilities of detectors, with respect to possible cosmic sources.
