Syllabus

Each student will be assigned two presentations throughout the year:

1. A textbook chapter dealing with a basic astrophysical concept.

2. A paper dealing with topics in astrophysics.

Students participating in the course are expected to come to the majority of the meetings.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course the students will have experience in critically reading and presenting scientific results in the field of astronomy and astrophysics.
