Syllabus

This course provides the students with knowledge of a wide range of methods and technologies used in state-of-the-art neuroscience research. It covers a wide range of modern neuroscience methods, including neurophysiology, microscopy, neural activity imaging, single-cell sequencing, genetic engineering, optogenetics, behavioral analyses, psychophysics and human brain imaging.

Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

Demonstrate knowledge in a wide range of neuroscience methods.
Read and understand research papers that utilize modern genetic engineering, neurophysiology, optical imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, and behavioral analyses.
