Application Form for Tenure Track Position at the Weizmann Institute of Science

The application for a Tenure Track faculty position at the Weizmann Institute of Science is open throughout the year. Once the application is complete and all letters of recommendation are uploaded, the candidate is considered by all relevant departments. An interested department will follow with an invitation to present a seminar, a job talk and a chalk talk, and interviews with department members. The department then discusses the application. In the case of a positive recommendation by the department, the application is considered by the faculty committee (the Life Sciences Faculties Tenure Track Appointments Committee), and then by the institutional committee (Appointments and Promotions Committee of the Scientific Council). The committees usually seek advice and recommendation letters from international experts. The entire evaluation process takes a few months. To ensure adequate consideration and prevent delays, applicants are advised to apply 2-3 months before the application deadlines of other universities.

Your application will be forwarded to the Department Heads of the Life Sciences Faculties once receiving 2 reference letters. Preferentially, letters should be from your PhD and Postdoc advisers.
If this is problematic, then letters from other scientists can be sent.
